that my K1 visa appointment is on January 26. |

Have my "interview" at the Montreal
consulate. It was more like standing in line at a bank window,
and being asked a few questions. I was told to come back in
the afternoon. When I did, pasted in my passport was my K-1
Visa. |

Entry into US through Toronto. Was not given and
EAD, was told to get one in Phoenix. |

Went to INS to get EAD. Was told I should have received
it in Toronto. EAD would expire June 4 1999. |

Went to INS to Apply for Adjustment of Status and new
EAD. Was told it was done through the mail and given the forms
needed for the application. Also found out that the waiting
period for the EAD would be 90 days and the AOS would be 24 months. |

Had interview with Tracie at INS Phoenix. After
a few questions and a perusal at forms I had forgot I had even
filled out!, my passport was stamped and I was officially a permanent
resident. I was told my permanent residence card would come in
the mail with in a year. |

Action dated March 8, 2002, welcoming me to the US.
